You have reached the website of Judd Vinet. That's me. Welcome.
I live in Victoria, BC, Canada. I spend a lot of time on the computer, usually within the role of a systems architect, application developer, or sysadmin. I have a lot of fun hacking on open source projects revolving around Linux, mobile, and the web. If you'd like to see some of my current and past projects, please visit the Projects page. You can also visit my page on GitHub.
My largest side project to date has been the Arch Linux distribution, a lightweight, flexible operating system intended for people who like to keep things simple. If you're interested in the world of Linux, you should check it out -- there is ample documentation for experts and newcomers alike.
In addition to my side projects, I am also the co-founder and CTO of a little company called Bet Smart Media. We build apps for sports wagering, and it's pretty fun.
When I'm not in front of a keyboard, I like to be outside or under water (basically anywhere that doesn't tempt me to continue typing). I enjoy cycling, swimming, camping, and most anything outdoors, if the sun is cooperating. I've also been known to pick up a guitar now and then. You can check out my curated list of guitar tabs if that sort of thing interests you.
